Bomb Rocks Nepal
Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, was rocked by four bombs that went off simultaneously on Sunday. At least two people died and twenty were injured. Fingers are being pointed at the ethnic-based armed groups operating in southern Nepal. Four bombs exploded almost simultaneously in and around Nepal's capital Sunday, killing at least two people in the first attack on Katmandu since a communist insurgency ended last year, authorities said. Pray for Nepal.

Unrest in Bangladesh
Bangladesh has been under emergency since January 2007. The interim government, backed by the military, has ruled the country since then and cancelled the elections. There has been a growing unrest against the interim government.

Last month there was riots led by the students which spilled into the streets. Curfew followed thereafter. On 3rd September, former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia was arrested, along with one of her sons, in charges of corruption.

Khaleda Zia and Begum Sheikh Hasina have dominated the Bangladesh politics since their concerted efforts ended the military rule under General Ershad in 1990. The two parties, which have dominated the political scene, have been sworn enemies since then. Hasina has been in custody since July under charges of extortion and corruption. There have been more than 150 other political leaders who have been placed under arrest, in what they say is a clean up from corruption. These arrests appears to be more politically motivated, aimed at weakening these two parties before the next elections. Pray for Bangladesh.
